Candela Light & Bright

The Nordlys Light & Bright™ treatment uses a combination of intense pulsed light (IPL) and a non-ablative fractional laser to improve redness and dark spots, resurface your skin, and stimulate your body’s own natural collagen production for bright, glowing skin. The Light & Bright™ treatment is a series of treatments, typically done over 3 treatment sessions. It consists of fractional non-ablative treatments (Frax 1550™ and/or Frax 1940™) along with narrowband IPL treatment on the Nordlys system.

During the treatment, you can expect a comfortable experience as our skilled team applies the innovative Nordlys technology, which utilizes a combination of laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) to target specific skin concerns. Prior to the treatment, a thorough consultation will be conducted to discuss your goals and customize the procedure to your unique needs.

As the treatment begins, you may feel a mild warming sensation as the light energy is delivered to your skin. The procedure typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Many patients find it to be relatively painless, with minimal downtime required afterward. Following your session, you might experience slight redness or swelling, akin to a mild sunburn, which generally subsides within a few hours. 

In the days following your treatment, you will notice improvements in skin tone, texture, and brightness, with optimal results appearing gradually over a few weeks. At your follow-up appointment, we’ll assess your progress and discuss any additional treatments if necessary.
